The Sialex Ring: The Solution to Limescale, Corrosion and Bacteria Problems

Are you a homeowner suffering from limescale problems? Scale deposits in your bathroom? A malfunctioning boiler? You’ve heard of solutions like salt-based water softeners, but their drawbacks — cost, maintenance, environmental impact and associated risks — leave you uncertain?

Ou bien, you are a professional? Facing limescale, corrosion or bacteria issues? Comparing different solutions to find the one that best fits your needs?

If you’re in either of these situations, you’re in the right place.

We have already addressed these types of problems for all kinds of clients: from private homeowners to international oil companies, including luxury apartment buildings and public authorities.

We work with all types of clients

We have worked with all types of clients.

Sialex Ring: a simple, high-performance, maintenance-free solution.

Sialex Ring is a ring that fits around the water inlet, modifying water characteristics through an oscillation system. This prevents limescale formation, bacterial growth, and corrosion in piping systems.

A 5 minutes installation

Competing solutions such as water softeners and magnetic rings require professional intervention, which involves temporarily shutting off your water supply during the installation work.

With the Sialex Ring, no special qualifications are required for installation *. It can be set up in just 5 minutes.

* Except for industrial sites, where professional intervention is required.

No maintenance, no consumables

Once installed, the Sialex Ring requires no maintenance or consumables. Additionally, it needs no electricity to operate.

While conventional solutions require regular servicing and electricity consumption, the Sialex Ring is completely autonomous.

No risk of side effects

Chemical solutions (water softeners) carry risks. Indeed, water hardness can vary throughout the year. This makes the settings inadequate as soon as variation occurs. The water then becomes either too salty or too hard, causing corrosion or limescale buildup.

Quant au Sialex Ring, it treats water regardless of its variations, thus causing no adverse effects.

An affordable solution

Competing solutions such as water softeners and magnetic devices are generally more expensive than the Sialex Ring.

Over a 10-year period, a water softener (salt-based or CO2-based) costs approximately €3,500. This includes the initial installation cost, consumables, and additional expenses like maintenance. Furthermore, the average lifespan of such devices is 10 years.

At first glance, magnetic systems may appear to be attractive alternatives due to their lower upfront cost. However, their performance decreases over the years to the point where replacement is necessary, typically every decade.

Over the same 10-year period, a Sialex Ring costs 3 to 5 times less than competing solutions, while offering a considerably longer lifespan.

How does the Sialex Ring work?

The Sialex Ring is fitted onto a water supply line. In certain cases, it can also be installed before equipment requiring protection (e.g., boiler, dishwasher, steam oven, etc.).

Through an oscillation system, the Sialex Ring prevents the limescale naturally present in water from adhering to surfaces.

In addition to acting preventively, it has a curative effect on damaged equipment. Similar to how the sea erodes a cliff face, encrusted limescale undergoes gradual erosion in the months after the ring is installed.

This treatment operates exclusively through waves, causing no chemical alteration on the water. Our solution therefore produces no side effects. The water keeps its minerals and remains safe to drink.

The ring contains a quartz and silicon alloy.

Ambient temperature constantly varies by a few thousandths of a degree. This minute variation acts on this alloy, which then generates oscillations, thereby modifying the water’s characteristics.

Technical specifications of the Sialex Ring

The ring size varies depending on the water inlet diameter.

For residential use, a ring of a few centimeters is sufficient. It fits 100% of pipes as it complies with French DTU standards.

Larger diameter rings (100 to 2000 mm) are used in industrial applications. They are equally easy to install.

The weight of a ring varies between 300 grams and several kilos. This variable is related to its diameter.

The Sialex Ring is composed of a quartz and silicon alloy. This alloy is surrounded by an aluminum casing. The ring is delivered in a protective box, with an Allen key for installation.

The oscillations generated by the device are inaudible.

The ring requires no electricity — it is 100% autonomous.

How is a Sialex Ring installed?

Installing the Sialex Ring generally takes just 5 minutes. No technical skills are required.

After your order, you receive a protective box containing the following items:

    • The Sialex Ring
    • Its 2 screws
    • An Allen key
    • Insulating tape (blue)
    • Adjustment tape (white)

    If the pipe is metal:

The first step is to wrap the insulating tape around the pipe. The purpose is to prevent direct contact between the two metals (the pipe’s metal and the ring’s aluminum).

If there is a gap between the pipe and the ring, the adjustment tape should be applied to fill it.

Then, simply place the ring around the pipe and tighten the screws using the Allen key provided in the box.

From this point, the installation is complete and your water system is protected.

What is the price of a Sialex Ring?

The price of a Sialex Ring depends on several factors : Different models are available depending on the volume of water to be treated and its quality.

Your need will not be the same whether you are a private homeowner, a hotel operator, a property developer, or an industrial facility manager.

The characteristics of the water in your area also play an important role: pH level, hardness (TH), alkalinity (TAC), conductivity, mineral content, and more. For example, water with a high alkalinity level (TAC) requires a specific ring to be treated effectively.

The first step is to provide us with your contact details so we can analyze your situation.

To prepare an accurate quotation, we need the following information:

1 – Your location, in order to assess the characteristics of the local water supply.

2 – The size of the system to be protected, including water consumption, flow rate, pipe diameter, and network configuration.

Once we have received your details, we will analyze the water characteristics in your area.

We will then contact you to review the results and discuss your specific needs.

After fully understanding your situation, we will be able to provide you with an accurate price for the Sialex Ring model that best suits your requirements.
